AA-480-48-44-00-XX Outdoor Thermoelectric Cooler THERMOELECTRIC COOLING UNITS FOR OUTDOOR ENCLOSURES AND KIOSKS The AA-480 Outdoor Thermoelectric Cooler is an Air-to-Air thermoelectric assembly (TEA) that uses impingement flow to transfer heat. It offers dependable, compact performance by cooling objects via convection. The AA-480 has 480 Watts of cooling capacity and a COP of 1 at ΔT = 0°C. Heat is absorbed and dissipated thru custom designed heat exchangers with high aspect ratio, air ducted shrouds and high performance fans. The heat pumping action occurs from custom designed thermoelectric modules that achieve a high coefficient of performance (COP) to minimize power consumption. This product series has been designed to pass rigorous Telcordia test requirements for outdoor environments. This is due to the selection of world class components such as brand name fans with the highest degree of environmental protection and lifetime guaranteed waterproof connectors, heavy duty anodization on the high-density heat exchangers, overheat protection, and double environmental seals for the thermoelectric modules. The TE assembly must be mounted in a cabinet with “Hot side”  mounted externally.   2. Suitable cabinet cutout is 310x284 mm. 3. Recommended for general purposes: the TE assembly should be fastened according to picture below so that the gasket material will seal off around  the flange of the assembly.  4. The TE assembly is recommended to be positioned with "Cold side" in vertical direction with wires facing downwards (heat sink fins in vertical direction). 280                                                                                                                    306 5. Note that condensation may occure. The TE assembly must be protected from external force or violence. 7. The power line to the assembly needs to be protected by a fuse. Fuse ratings for other am bient temperatures (x°C) can be calculated with the formula I[x°C]=I[35°C]/(1+0. 005*(x-35)). This is valid when regulating with an ON/OFF regulation. At rapid temperature cycling where this is applicable, there can be need for even higher fuse ratings. 8. Max ripple on supplied power =5%. MOUNTING HOLE LOCATION & HARDWARE 9.
