The adaptor is installed on select equipment to allow the signal and power to be bypassed without interruption of service. Functioning with flexible “male to male”, pogo pin style cable adaptors, the adaptor provides a simple, fast, and cost-effective method to bypass equipment so that routine maintenance or upgrades can be performed without interrupting service to subscribers. When connected between the equipment and 5/8” (1.587 cm) -24 pin type entry connectors, the adaptor’s auto seize mechanism provides a robust mechanical and electrical connection providing one GHz performance and power passing reliability.
